What is package forwarding and parcel forwarding ?

Package forwarding and parcel forwarding are the same thing. MY UK BUYS provide this service for people living outside the UK looking to purchase from online UK shops. Basically, we give you a UK address so you can buy item(s) from UK shops and when they are delivered to us, we forward the package on to you.

How much do you charge for this service ?

MY UK BUYS charge £5 to forward a package.

Does that include the cost to post an item ?

No. The cost to post the item is separate and we have a page dedicated to postage costs depending on the weight of the item. You can reach the page by clicking on this link – Postage Fees.

How do I get the UK address ?

You can have full access to the UK address by emailing order@myukbuys.com or by filling in the contact form.  We offer a friendly and personal service so please contact us with any queries you may have.

Why do you not display your UK forwarding address on the My UK Buys website ?

We prefer not to display the UK address on our website because we prefer to approve items/orders beforehand as there are several international sending restrictions and prohibitions.

Why do I have to use the contact form or email MY UK BUYS before I can get the UK forwarding address ?

We are aware that some customers may prefer to receive the UK forwarding address without having to contact MY UK BUYS beforehand, but the sole reason why we ask you to contact us first is for your safety as some items may not be eligible for sending. So if we approve the item you wish forwarded first, then you will not be at risk of your parcel being rejected or returned to seller because it is unsuitable for international sending.

What types of items are unsuitable for international sending ?

Why can I not pay for forwarding services directly through your online site ?

We understand customers may like to pay for our services via our online site but in order to keep costs down and charge our customers as little as possible, we offer PayPal as a payment method via emailed invoices.

How do I pay for MY UK BUYS services ?

We send you a PayPal payment invoice/request via email which you can click through to pay as normal with your PayPal balance or credit/ debit card.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to make the payment ?

No, a PayPal account is not required to pay just a credit/debit card.

How does forwarding work ?

Everything you need to know about forwarding in 4 simple steps !…
1) Send your order confirmation to order@myukbuys.com.
2) MY UK BUYS receives the parcel and contacts you detailing the weight and the cost to ship.
3) MY UK BUYS sends you a PayPal bill via email to pay for shipping.
4) MY UK BUYS sends the parcel to you via your choice of postal service. 

Has MY UK BUYS received my order ?
MY UK BUYS will contact you regarding your order within 24 hours of delivery arrival at our UK address.

I have not been contacted by the online store I purchased from, can MY UK BUYS tell me if my order has been dispatched ?
No, unfortunately online stores only contact the bill payer (you!) with information and updates regarding your order i.e. order confirmations, dispatch notifications. MY UK BUYS are unable to find out any information about your order and will confirm delivery within 24 hours when your order arrives at our UK address.
